When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Contact Forms

When you contact us via this website we collect the data shown in the contact form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection. This information is necessary in order for us to be able to respond to your requests/questions.

Cookies

If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.

We don’t currently integrate any analytics into this website, other than statify, which does not store any personal data.

The Events page has been constrcuted by using the Time.ly All-In-One-Events Calendar WordPress plugin. This does not collect any specific personal information and the Time.ly privacy policy is available here: https://time.ly/tos/privacy-policy

Testimonials

Testimonials are facilitated by the Strong Testimonials WordPress plugin and whilst viewing testimonials it does not store any user or visitor data, does not send any data to remote servers, act as a service or embed content and does not edit the comments for in any way. It also prevents the displaying of email addresses in the testimonial presented on the website.

When submitting a testimonial on this website the data collected on that form will be stored.

Third Party Links

Our website may contain links to other websites provided by third parties not under our control. When following a link and providing information to a third-party website, please be aware that we are not responsible for the data provided to that third party. This privacy policy only applies to the websites listed at the beginning of this document, so when you visit other websites, even when you click on a link posted on WordPress.org, you should read their own privacy policies.

How Do We Communicate With You

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
